I don't think Fab is really any different to most dating/hook up sites, insofar as the women being overwhelmed by offers and the men being lucky to even get a reply.

I've been a member for about a year and a half and in that time have managed to meet 5 women, which doesn't sound too bad, but an average (or even below average) woman can have a different partner every day of the week if she chooses to (so what's this 'male privilege' thing I keep hearing about?)

The site itself is easy to use and contains genuine people, but if you're a single straight male then you'll find that the majority of messages you send will be met with deletion. If you're lucky enough to get a reply then it doesn't mean the deal is sealed - more often than not they'll disappear after a couple of messages because obviously someone preferable to them has stolen their attention.

What makes me laugh though is the status updates from women who complain about being messed around by men yet they'll completely ignore genuine messages.

Myself and my partner had been members of the site for 7 months and had enjoyed this time. The site we found was good and had people that were willing to meet, but we also had some let downs, lots of fakes and picture collectors.

Then our account was permanently suspended for no reason at all. We contacted the site administrators to ask why this had happened and we did not receive an answer back and our messages seem to have been ignored. We know that we stayed within the site rules and can't understand why this has happened.

I would advise people to steer clear of this site, as it generally is a waste of time and the staff really don't care about the subscribers.

In summary, I would not recommend Fab Swingers to a friend.

I've been a member for a year now and had no success at all.most of my messages are ignored or deleted.there has been maybe 5 or 6 who have replyed and said no thanks out of the hundreds I must have sent.a lot of girls will no doubt look for verifications,but how can you get verified if you cant get a meet? I've read of other sites having loads of fake profiles.i wonder if there are loads on here? there cant be that many girls who would ignore/delete your messages? I always put photos on my messages and have never sent any abusive ones back(though it can get tempting sometimes,lol)I cant recommend the site as it just doesn't seem to work.i travel about a lot going to concerts so I've contacted girls from lots of different areas,and its the same everywhere.in fact im not sure any site is worth it as having been in a few,its the same old story with all of them.another thing with fabswing,they have a good photo section,but I noticed theres a lot of professional looking pictures that don't look like they have been taken at peoples homes and the girls in the photos look a... Fab is a good site, full of people who actually use and meet others, we have meet about once a month. All messaging is free, yes there are message limits but as a couple we have never hit them. Profiles and up to 12 pics are free, plus you have a private gallery and can keep pics for messaging only, so easy to keep face pics private.

Yes, like any site of this kind there are time wasters and guys trying to pose as couples, but that's true on pay sites also! The verification system is good, you can see how long people have been on the site, over a few months and no verifications probably means no point in contacting.

There are many social nights advertised, so it is easy for genuine new people to get verified, just turn up at a free social! There is also a photo verification, you need to write your profile name and the website on paper in the pic, ok you could still photoshop the pic but at least this makes it difficult to fake.

I've been on this site as a single female for over a year. I've read the reviews from the bitter males below and the "problems" they have. Firstly, what you men have to understand is that you outnumber the women on the site 100 to 1 so of course you aren't going to get a reply to every message. As far as the "insurance type list of requirements" goes, suck it up! You expect any woman you message to fall into bed with you? Please! We all have our own likes and dislikes so writing them on our profile stops you wasting your time and ours by messaging. The problem is you men never read them.Then you get annoyed when we don't reply! The real problems with the site are two-fold.

1.I FIND AT LEAST 10 FAKE PROFILES A DAY ON THE SITE. I report them all and yet nothing seems to be done. I've found it more productive to actually mail the person and show them I know they're a fake, they sometimes remove themselves. The amount of abusive messages we women get from the men is disgusting, but nothing gets done when you report the messages either, certainly not... (Read the full review)

Unfortunately, it is still so that the half has no interest in making a real meeting and also writes this in here profile.

Or with fake pictures and unfriendly conditions ala '"Please read first" ...followed by a text of the length of the small print of an insurance contract.

Or have no image itself, but want a passport photo from the men... wtf.

Or are part of a couple..

... you can write so friendly letters as you want , it will be deleted. I've absolutely no idea for which circle of people this side is working .A site for women seeking a wee bit attention and at the same time want to work off her frustration of her husband on normal fun seeking guys.

This site is full of women who add you as a friend, read your messages, but never reply.
A lot of women on there are also lacking basic manners, as a lot of them just delete a polite, well mannered message without replying.

Some of the women on there have an exceptionally long list of verifications, regarding who they have met, which they are obviously very proud of, so they are the ones to steer well clear of.

There are also quite a few women on there who are lacking in the looks department, but seem to think they are gods gift to men, and are very hard to impress and communicate with.

The word "professional" is used a lot in peoples profiles on there, which is obviously a load of bullshit, as it makes these people think they are something special, and will give them the edge over other people on the site.

Also, a lot of men on there claim to be "athletic", when after looking at their pictures, you will realise it's more bullshit that people come out with on there.

The last time some of the men on there played sport, was when they were at school!!!

Where to start?

Fab Swingers is actually a decent website, it is well laid out and easy to use, it has a good search tool and users have the ability to post in a meets section if they are looking for fun on specific date.

So whats the problem I hear you ask?

Put quite simply its the so called "users" - mail will often go unanswered or people will simply vanish from the site mid conversation, this is when they aren't accusing you of being a fake or a time waster because you a)don't want to meet them b)they don't agree with something on your profile.

There also seems to be many little cliques amongst the users and they seem very hard to break into - I do suspect if one could manage this the success rate would rise considerably.

Most profiles now scream "We will only meet people with verifications!!!" well if your new to the site and people are only meeting other verified members how does anyone expect you to get verified?

In conclusion if you are the sort of person who enjoys smashing their face into the wall over and over again then you might enjoy Fab Swingers - anyone else... (Read the full review)

The biggest problem with this site is probably their 'verification' system. The women on here tend not to meet guys that haven't been verified by meeting. So if you're new to site obviously you haven't been verified as yet so there the problem lies. How do you get verified? Go figure.
A couple of my friends have also tried this site and all ended up with the same problem. Can't get verified. There is a forum in this site and on discussing my issue, even the women told me it's because we haven't been verified. It's a really stupid system. If you're a woman or a gay guy then i guess you'll be ok.

If the administrators would get a grip and actually listen to their members issues this could be very easily solved. They should rate people on how they interact with others on the site instead. eg. Give members positive points when they actually reply to messages and take points off for rude and anti-social antics etc. then this site would certainly be better. But like so many other sites the admin are only interested in advertising revenue and the more gullible guys that sign up then the more... (Read the full review)

1) Getting a date ~ limited i think, too many pushy guys

2) Features ~ when i was a member the features were very basic and limited but just about enough

3) Photos ~ you cant post many pix but its prob the better feature

4) Technical support ~ Fab offers NO SUPPORT just a few FAQ answers ,, a forum that only members can view ,,

5) Ease of use ~ its easy to use as its so basic

6) Ease of joining ~ NOT EASY, i tried to join this site (i had been a member once before) but i cant, for many weeks its being saying my 'profile is awaiting approval' there are forums on profile approval delay but they are all kept inside the site so if it doesnt let you join you cant read the advice (catch 22) there is no support/replied to enquiries or questions or concerns
