With over 6 million members there’s plenty to choose from and they’re not shy about saying exactly what they want. Members’ photos are frequently of a very sexual and intimate nature; these people aren’t pulling any punches, they know why they are here and will let you know what they are looking for.

There’s a definite honesty, then, to the members on SwingTowns.com and the site attempts to match them up through a simple search based primarily on sexuality and the number of people you’re looking for. In theory this works, but in practice there are a number of hurdles to jump. Foremost, the site is a mess. Random bits of information, ads and hyperlinks seem to be scattered across the pages without any thought. This makes it very difficult to navigate effectively to find something that you’re after. Many of the search options seem irrelevant (the vast majority are around how “new” a photo or member is, which is okay but only when they are one of many options). If you want to join from the UK then you’ll soon encounter difficulties as Swing Towns asks you to choose your location from a list which simply does not appear, and won’t let you progress any further. There are bugs and dead links aplenty, random bits of information in places that don’t really have much of a link to that information. Photos are generally poor in quality, some even looking as though they were taken decades ago.

Paying members are able to join chats and place ads (for booty calls, parties or events, for example), send messages and access private photos. Members are actively involved in commenting on photographs, which gives a sense of the site being worthwhile and put to good use. Profiles are basic but do allow members to write about themselves in whatever way they choose, and touches such as writing about your greatest fantasy or sexual encounter provide for interesting reading and are a good way to express your desires. If SwingTowns appeals, you can also get a lifetime membership for a very reasonable price (much more reasonable than the one month price).

SwingTowns.com could be a great site for people interested in partner sharing and swinging but it’s let down by its sloppy, unprofessional construction to the point that it becomes both irritating and unworkable. Users in the USA seem to get the majority of the site’s focus. Despite its pitfalls SwingTowns.com appears to have a genuine, dedicated membership which – if you can put up with the slapdash site – may very well get you results.
