LoveVoodoo.com is an adult dating and swingers site with a strong emphasis on events and merchandising. But that’s not all there is too LoveVoodoo.com and it doesn’t feel as though it’s merely an online sales pitch, there’s a genuine attempt to create a sense of community and to get its members involved.

What impressed us about LoveVoodoo was that it did things a little differently to its competition. Take its message/email system, for example: you get the usual chat options but also a substantial range of emoticons (including a few ‘flirtatious’ ones); rather than an events section comprising of simple lists or calendars a lot of effort has gone into organising high-calibre events in impressive locations (a favourite of ours being aboard a liner for 2 weeks of sun, sea and...well, you know). Members are encouraged to write blogs and welcome new members to the site through a rewards system. As you perform certain duties or get more involved around the site, you earn points which can then be exchanged for merchandise or put towards travel expenses. Browsing through members also shows you any events they hope to attend, so you can spend your money or points wisely on going to events that will be hosting your favourite members.

But Love Voodoo might not be perfect for everyone. There is a definite lean towards an American market, which is fine if you live in the USA, but is perhaps not ideal if you live elsewhere and are not willing to travel. A lot of members have incomplete profiles, which can be irritating when browsing, and although you have an option to exclude members without photos you will often get results for members who just have the LoveVoodoo.com logo as their main photo. There is virtually no technical support available other than a contact form, which makes solving basic problems a very drawn out process.  It’s not the easiest site to navigate, either, with a lot of tabs containing menus which aren’t necessarily full of appropriate links so it can be difficult to find your way around.

All of these issues may be just irritations to you and there are definitely some interesting and unique features worth trying on LoveVoodoo.com. There are a lot of payment options, too, which mean that you can sample the site under full membership for just 7 days or potentially take out a lifelong contract if you discover that LoveVoodoo.com pushes all the right buttons for you.
