PolyamoryDate.com is a site whose key focus is on matching its members up for threesomes or group sex, but it offers a variety of relationship options to suit most needs. Completing your profile is relatively simple, though somewhat lacking in detail at times, and as such it’s hard to set yourself apart from the crowd. One way that you might do so, however, is through your photos. A great plus of PolyamoryDate is that it allows its members to upload photos from their hard drive, take a shot on their webcam or to email a photo to them, with an upper limit of 20MB per photo. This is a much higher quality of photo than many other sites will allow its members and, though most members don’t take full advantage of this feature, it can be worth keeping in mind when thinking about how to best attract members to your profile.

Okay so you’ve completed your profile and uploaded some of your best pictures, what now? Well of course you don’t have to wait for the fish to start biting; you can take it on yourself to look for members who might tickle your fancy. A basic search allows you to choose the gender and the kind of relationship a member is looking for, their age range and their distance from a particular location. This is most often all you need, though to fine-tune search results, paying members are able to select a much greater array of options, down to drinking and smoking habits. It is unclear how many search results you receive, though, as there’s no numeric indication, or even a way to skip through pages to reach later ones without pressing “next”. This irritation quickly becomes an encumbrance if you spend a lot of time searching through profiles, particularly as you’ll often get the same results in the first few pages.  

Paying members can get involved in community discussions in chat rooms, or in private chats with individuals. Polyamory Date also offers web cam chat as well as text-based chat, which is a nice addition for people who are interested in flirting face-to-face prior to meeting in person. A large range of adult videos are also available, though unlimited downloading costs extra.

PolyamoryDate.com is a solid swingers / adult daters website with relevant features and a reasonable number of members. It’s a little lacklustre, though, and would benefit from offering extra ways to personalise your profile. Its delivery of search results might grate on you too, so it’s worth trying out their free membership before you decide to pay for their premium services.
